Piezo Ceramic Disc Transducer Application:

Piezoelectric devices are used in optomechanical systems, micromanipulators, and robotics.

Typical piezoelectric actuators are small in size and simple in design and can produce micrometer-scale mechanical displacements (from 0.5 μm to 150 μm).

Due to the small size and mass, the inertial force of the device is small, so the response time is short. These characteristics of piezoelectric actuators allow for good performance and power/volume ratios.
