Piezoelectric ceramic ring transducer surface metallization introduce, A metal film is made on the surface of piezoceramics, usually with a thickness of 1-100 microns. It prepares for the welding of metal and ceramics and is also a kind of functional ceramic electrode manufacturing technology.
Available piezoelectric ceramic ring transducers:
PZT4 ring 10x5x2mm used for ultrasonic scaler.
PZT4 / PZT8 15x7x3mm used for ultrasonic cleaner.
PZT4 / PZT8 ring 25x10x5mm used for cleaning or welding.
PZT4 / PZT8 35x15x5mm used for cleaning or weld.
PZT4 / PZT8 38x15x5mm, 38x15x6mm, 38x13x6.35mm, 45x15x5mm, 50x17x6.5mm, 50x17x5mm, 50x20x5mm, 50x20x6mm, 50x23x6.5mm and 60x30x10mm.
Surface metallization piezoelectric ceramics
The metal powder is coated on the ceramic surface, and through high-temperature treatment, a metal film adhered to the ceramic surface by the glass is formed.
This is the earliest and most mature metallization method invented.
Here we take the silver method (that is, burning a layer of metallic silver on the ceramic surface) as an example to illustrate the process.
Silver has strong conductivity and good oxidation resistance. The silver film on the ceramic surface is usually used as the electrode of the capacitor, filter or the conductive network of the integrated circuit substrate.
The thermal expansion coefficient of the silver layer and the ceramic base material is close to that of the ceramic blank, and the combination is firm and the thermal stability is good. Metal can be welded directly on the silver surface.
