Inspection method of piezoelectric buzzer
Use a 6V DC power supply (also available in series with four 1.5V dry cell batteries) and connect the positive and negative terminals to the positive and negative terminals of the piezoelectric buzzer respectively; a normal piezoelectric buzzer should emit a pleasant sound. If the buzzer does not sound after power is applied, it means that there are damaged internal components or broken lines, and the internal oscillator and piezoelectric buzzer should be checked and repaired.
The piezoelectric buzzer can be used to detect the 1V or 2.5V DC voltage file of the multimeter. When measuring, the right hand holds two-meter pens, the black meter pen connects to the surface of the piezoelectric ceramic, the red meter pen connects to the surface of the metal sheet (stainless steel sheet or brass sheet), the index finger and thumb of the left hand while pinching the buzzer, and then release the hand. If the measured piezoelectric buzzer is normal, at this time the multimeter pointer should swing a little to the right, and then back to zero. The larger the swing, the higher the sensitivity of the piezoelectric buzzer. If the needle does not move, it means that the piezoelectric buzzer has poor performance.
